Major and Max

I wanted to introduce you to my Greyhound Major. 
He was rescued after breaking his Hock racing.
I was lucky enough to be given the chance
to adopt him.

Here is his story.  

3rd May 2002:

I first found out about Major through Groovy Greyhounds and Loopy Lurchers Message Board. I was contacted by Tasha of  Kama's Cave, who have lots of Greyhounds in need of homes. I checked out the website and saw Major. Something inside me said this was the dog for me. I didn't know a great deal about him, but I just knew. He was in a foster home and needed a permanent home quickly. 
I contacted Tasha by e-mail to let her know that I really wanted Major. She has been fantastic. 

5th May 2002:

 Tasha has contacted me to say that I have been approved to adopt Major. I am speechless. I am so excited, I don't know what to do with myself.
This is the best news I have had. I can't stop crying.

16th May 2002:  (Breaking News)

Well, things have come on a bit now. I have agreed to take on another Greyhound. His name is Max. He is just like Major and is an absolute sweetie too. He comes from the same place as Major, and looks so much like him, they could be brothers.
I am just too excited to type right now. Will keep you posted.
